    HARRY POTTER day!

    the people here in Jonesboro had a midnight countdown for the release of the Last book of Harry Potter. Most of them went to the nearby bookstores (in the middle of the night and dress like wizards and witches. In Barnes and Nobles Bookstore (the biggest bookstore in town), they had games, costume party and quiz bee..the theme? Harry Potter, ofcourse! some of my friends (*cough*jai*cough*) had their copy 3 days ago. They bought it from Ebay. But they're are fair enough not to spoil the 'ending' (in accordance to the request of J.K. Rowling not to leak the 'ending' until the day of release). Jai wants to spoil the ending, but i dont want to hear it from him; i want to read the book itself.

    Around 8:30am, i went to walmart. The book was released at exactly 12 midnight. Ofcourse, I ran as fast as I can to grab my own copy of the Deathly Hallows. Ashley told me that Barnes and Nobles were 'out of stock' na since 4:00am this morning. Walmart is the best place to buy it because they will give 40% discount. I got the book for $17.87 plus tax. Guess what? i got the last book on the display shelves! i dont know if they still have a stock but I care less. I finally got a copy! kung sinuswerte nga naman..kung na-late lang ako ng 3 minutes, siguradong naubos na yun. While walking my way to the cashier, someone stopped me. It's a cute guy wearing Blue t-shirt (aeropostale if im not mistaken. He said he's willing to buy the book from me! what? I told him to ask a store manager if they still have stock. Inisnab ko sya. hello? wala ako balak ipagbili 'to noh! as for i know, this is the last book on the shelf and im not gonna sell it. I told him to check some on other bookstores.hello? this can't be the last book of harry potter in the world, right? mejo naawa nga ako sakanya ehh.. He's willing to pay thrice the amount of this book. He said he's an avid fan..im not gonna let him pay more than the worth of this book but..i really like this book. I'm dying to get a copy of this. Di naman masama maging selfish minsan. I apologized to him and mind my own business (on that time, my only business is to get this book).

    i paid for it and want to speed up so i can go home and read it. I went to the Money Center (my mom is sending money to the philippines). I sat down and open the book (i got so excited). I read the last chapter (Epilogue: Nineteen Years Later); Ginny and Harry were married, they have three children namely: James, Lily and Albus Severus. Ron and Hermione also got married and have a daughter named, Rose. As i've said before, I dont want to spoil the ending for the sake of the people who haven't read it yet. I'm glad Harry didn't die! yipeee...i guess it's more of a happy ending for all the loyal fans of the book. J.K. Rowling did a great job!

    I haven't read the entire book (i promise Daniel that I will avoid distractions..this book is a MAJOR distraction!)..Now, I am so excited to read it but I guess I have to wait 'til I finish my SAT on Tuesday. That's more important. As for this book, i'd better keep it on a safe place so i wont get tempted (and break my promise to Daniel). Goodluck! sana kayanin ko pigilan ang sarili ko!
