    it's mother's day! yipeee...

    i went to church early morning with Inez (Ashley can't attend the mass coz she have virus infection. she need to stay in bed for the whole day). i'm suppose to attend the afternoon mass with jai and macey but i've decided not to coz i have my bonding with my mom. Na-miss ko tuloy si ashley. By the way, Inez gave me German chocolates since i've mentioned to her last sunday that i love chocolates. It's tasty! I like it better than american chocolates. Well, i guess I have to fly to Germany pa to get these chocolates!

    so ayun..we're 30 minutes early so nakipag-kwentuhan muna kami sa mga tao dun. Greet dito, greet doon. Most of my friends were not here coz they'll be attending the afternoon mass (plus, they're too lazy t get up early this morning). I dress up different today (skirt and blouse). I'm surprised that most of the people there was like, "Hey you look so pretty today" nor some of them would say, "wow you look so sophisticated." hehe..thanks for all the compliments. Actually, I didn't even plan to wear this clothes today. I just get off the bed this morning, take a bath and pull clothes on my closet. No efforts made.

    When the mass was about to start, I've seen Daniel with a woman and a man. This is my first time to see those two. As the mass go on, i'm still clueless. The woman has a slight resemblance of Daniel and so as the man. So the idea that those two were Daniel's parents keeps on playing on my mind. After the mass, Daniel approached me. He is with the two unknown person. I'm surprised that some of the people in the church knows them including Fr. lucas. Then, Daniel introduced me to his parents. My heart beats faster and faster. I'm nervous! but i don't know why. Mrs. Monica, daniel's mom, hugged me. then she said, "So you're Joan. Glad to see you. Daniel's always mentioning you." After hearing that, the nervousness i felt earlier suddenly gone. We talked about my, my country, my plans (basically about my studies here) and so much more. She's super nice and beautiful. I can see how intelligent she is on the way she talk, the way she move and the way she react. Mr. Joseph, on the other hand, is quiet, and reserved. He is a complete reflection of Daniel. He let his wife do all the talking and speak if given a chance.

    It was just a short talk but Daniel's parents gained my respect. Daniel said that his parents will spend the entire day with him for Mother's Day. He told me some of his plans for Mother's Day and it's really funny how he really spend time to prepare for this day.

    After my church day, I went to the mall to surprise my mom (she's working in southlake mall). Nothing..just a simple surprise to make her day brighter. Then I've seen this handsome guy working in sprint (i've mentioned him here before). He is not working today and he just went there to buy gift for his mom. I helped him in picking a gift coz he said that he needs 'woman's point-of-view'. I really don't mind helping him (cute naman xa ehh).

    all in all, it was a nice day. The weather is great. The assignment we had in Adult Faith Formation is nice. I made my mom so happy. And to top it all, I've met Daniel's parents.
