    i finally got my driver's license..actually, it's not the permanent license.. The one I got was just the Driver's License-class CP. It's a license for young drivers like me. Actually, those were for minor drivers (17 yrs. old and below) who were just started driving. It's fine na rin so that i can drive around the State of Georgia legally. There are restrictions such as not driving with a person who are not a member of my immediate family. And i am not allowed to drive alone, there must be someone with me on the car who is 21 yrs. old or older that have a valid Driver's License.

    I took the road sign and law of state exam. It's pretty easy. I didn't have any wrong answer on the road signs but i got one wrong answer on the Georgia Law. The questions were too specific like 'how many miles per hour is the speed limit for all vehicles unless otherwise posted?', 'what is the cause of rear-end collision?'. Well atleast i took time to review the book for that. It's kinda hard for some point because the questions and answer choices were tricking you.

    the only wrong answer i got is on this question:
    "The traffic light is changing from green to yellow, what should you do?'

    > slow down and prepare to stop
    > change your lane
    > speed up and clear the intersection

    i can easily eliminate the second choice because it violates another rule that you cannot change lane within 100 feet of the traffic intersection. i choose the first answer choice because that is what i believe i should do on the given situation and i remember seeing that rule on the book. But i'm wrong!! grrrr...the right answer is "speed up and clear the intersection". I want to complain about it but since that i just got one wrong answer (i am allowed to have 5 wrong answers on that test or else, i am failed!), i didn't bother much about it. When i was in question # 20, i knew that i passed the test na. And then i went to the window to sign something and give them my social security number.

    Well, i hope when i turned 18 yrs. old, i can pass the driving test (on-the-road test) and get my Driver's License-class D. Ashley will also get her Driver's License-class CP this June 15 (her 15th birthday). Oh well, she's smart and i know she can pass it. I'm just nervous about the on-the-road test because i have to do the parallel parking! gosh! yung reverse-slant parking nga lang nahihirapan na ako ehh, paano pa kaya yung parallel parking? plus, we don't need to parallel park here in Georgia because there's a lot of public parking. If i'm living in New York, it would be necessary to parallel park because there's not much parking space there. Oh well, i'd better learn how to do it na rin. I'm having a minor problem on my right turns because i'm staying too close to the ramp.

    i'd better practice more. Practice may not make me perfect but it really helps..
